Taking Action For Wildlife

Tools for Communities, Land Trusts and Landowners to Conserve and Enhance Wildlife Habitat

The Wildlife Action Plan includes several tools to assist communities with integrating wildlife habitat conservation into decisions about land use.

Taking Action for Wildlife – a collaboration between NH Fish and Game, UNH Cooperative Extension, and the NH Association of Conservation Commissions – supports communities, conservation groups, and individuals with resources, tools, and training for conserving New Hampshire's wildlife and habitats. On the Taking Action for Wildlife website, you’ll find ways to implement the Wildlife Action Plan, including information on incorporating wildlife into community-based natural resources planning, resources to help you learn about and manage wildlife and habitats, and stories highlighting the ways in which communities, conservation groups, and landowners are working to conserve wildlife and habitats in New Hampshire.
